VISIT CANADA-Home
EDUCATIONAL TOURS-Home

Clockwise from above, one of the unforgettable murals by Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida at the Hispanic Society of America, a Flamenco floor show at dinner at a Spanish restaurant in New York City, and a view of The Cloisters, a 12-century Spanish monastery said to be the closest approximation of a European setting anywhere in North America.

VISIT CANADA was founded in 1986 to provide affordable, high-quality field trips to Montréal and Québec City for students and teachers of French.
Over the years, however, many of our clients (who are teachers of French who also teach Spanish), began to ask us what we might do for their Spanish students who lacked the time or resources to travel overseas, so we created a series of comparatively inexpensive but highly regarded Spanish trips to New York City.

Then, in 2005, the domestic tour division of our company was sold, and now, from what we can tell, these popular domestic trips have more or less died on the vine.

Thus, VISIT CANADA is pleased to announce that it is resuming operations of educational field trips to New York for students of Spanish, to see and experience some of the Spanish cultural icons of North America, including the Sorolla murals (above) at the Hispanic Society of America, the Central and South American People's exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History, the works of the Spanish masters at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Cloisters(above) among other interesting and pedagogically significant activities.
